No reeeming values. Just creepy & scary. Aside from Gwynn the acting is lame.

I love the film, but I would, for the most part, agree with you on the acting: except for Fred Gwynne, there ain't much to write home about. But I thought the film DID succeed in producing a VERY solid and creepy mood, which helped me to kind of overlook the blandness of the majority of the cast. I guess the term would be 'cinematography,' but I've never really been sure of exactly what all that word encompasses.
