Favorite scene?

I just watched the movie, and I just encountered one of the funniest scenes in movie history! @ 1:01:56, the hotel guy (the one in the uniform, with that stupid hat, which makes him look like a "damn mosquito-legged chimpanzee"), so that guy just smashes down on the plastic fly with that fly-swatter. That was so random, I can't help but laugh... You must check out that scene, it's hilarious!!!

Feel free to add your favorite scenes from the movie by the way...

When the manager tells the bellboy to clean up the broken bottle he sweeps it into a dustpan and walks out the door. Is he going to dump it in a trashcan outside? Nope. He just throws the broken glass out into the middle of the street. I loved how random that was.

Yeah these two clerks are great - my favourite is when the gun goes off, the big guy very carefully moves his head, glances upwards and then rolls his eyes left and right, up and down, until finally saying "damn! It's just gotta be room 22".

Well then... RIP my 12 year-old thread. Thanks for your amazing contributions, guys!

This kind of discussion (movie from 1989, discussing specific scenes) can never again happen on IMDb in 11 days. How sad...

I'm archiving this thread now locally, as IMDb doesn't even care to provide us with an archive.

My opinion on the issue and the main question for Col Needham can be found here:

Bye guys, it's been a pleasure to be on the movie boards for 13 years.

I was looking back to see if you were looking back at me to see me looking back at you
