What the fork looked like a mini trident??

I'm surprised she never confused it as a trident lol

I'm not sure why humans would walk around with mini tridents, but Scuttle told her it had a different purpose.

In the Hew York Times review in 1989 i is mentioned that the fork resembles a Trident

Well, I'm not saying that it doesn't resemble a trident in any shape or form. I just don't think there was any reason for Ariel to wonder if it was a mini trident. The pipe also resembled one of the brass instruments in Sebastian's orchestra, but that didn't cross her mind either.

To be fair, most people would not compare a pitchfork to a regular dinner fork even if they do have a similar design, so it sort of makes sense Ariel would not compare the trident to a dinner fork.
