Seriously, HOW THE HELL IS THIS FILM RATED IN THE 5s! This movie, along with Bloodsport, deserve to be on the Top 250. They DO NOT make them like this anymore! Some of the crap films in the Top 250 and this isnt!? Gimme a break! They don't even come close. This is, without a doubt, a classic.
This film is a solid 10/10. The music, the training sequences, the fighting! Pure testosterone flick. Love it!

It's a bit of a classic as far as MA flicks go. I agree with you, definately one of the top in the 80's action era, which is in a class of its own!
Not many people like the genre itself though, so there's your answer.

I gues this would be about 6.7/6.8 was surprised to see it so low, classic film
the tools who are rating this movie low were born in the 90's they heard about JCVD and heard about kickboxer and just couldn't get into it, they found the music cheesy and the fights even cheesier, they have no idea! they think Blade is a martial arts action film!
kick boxer, blood sport, and countless other 80's martial arts flicks are classics, VHS baby!

shareGee I don't know about 10, but I think its a solid 7.5, the film is great and your right, they truly don't make them like this anymore. I thought the acting was pretty good, and the fight scenes were all cool.
Also Rochelle Ashana was so beautiful as Mylee =)
