The Movie Stinks But

That is very true- Way too bad she retired from acting!

But I think it is a wonderful film, and one of the truest to the book I have ever seen!

Tilly is terrific. I've heard complaints about her inauthentic German accent, but I'm an American, so it's not like I'd know the difference anyway. But I love the exquisitely literary style of the novel. Not many are written like that anymore. I got a hardcover second edition in very good condition for $1 at a book sale.

Omg! I think she’s still beautiful but she was amazing in this film. Not only her looks though, as her performance was wonderful as well.
