It's still bad. A third movie being even more crap than the crap second one doesn't make the second one good all of a sudden.
It's still a plot hole ridden rehash with a weak villain and climax. What's worse it was only the second one. All those different ideas they could've come up with and instead they just more or less remade the first one only five years later.
