I love this movie

Am I the only one who 'hearts' this film? its one of my fave movies of my childhood. Juliette Caron made a great Heidi & Charlie Sheens super young here.

I love it too, but I think it's so gross how Heidi and Peter kiss at the end. Ugh, he's so... old, and shes so... young. Bleh.

What is wrong with kissing a guy?

You're not the only one. I've loved this movie for so long. I watched it first like 10 years ago. I love the story, the actors, the pictures, the music, everything. I didn't even mind Charlie Sheen in the role of Peter.Actually as I remember, I didn't even know who he was when I first saw the film. But every time I see it I do laugh when Heidi refers to him being 18 years old. And I hated Heidi's hair pulled up in the end. All in all, a great film. Walking in the snow every winter reminds me of it. One more thing, Little Night Music has been my all time favorite classical music since then.

You have to ignore how old Charlie Sheen was in real life...somewhere in his 20s. In the movie, he was supposed to be 18...so it's not that bad when you have a 14-15 year-old girl kissing a guy who is 18.

I love this movie. My grandpa taped it for me after I read the book in first grade, then we lost it and I coudln't find it anywhere, so now I'm trying to find it at videostores.

usually sequels to movies suck, but this one surprised me by being really good. I love it.

I was five when Courage Mountain was released, I obviously knew nothing about Charlie Sheen or the appropriateness of his age and Juliette's at the time, so I fell head over heels for Peter and thought he and Heidi were lovely together, like a Disney couple. Frankly I still do, despite what Charlie may be like in reality, he'll always be Peter to me. I thought Juliette was the most beautiful girl I'd ever seen, and looking back I think she was a marvellous actress for her age, compare her to Emma Watson in the later Harry Potter films, she's not a patch on Juliette or any of the girls in Courage Mountain IMO. I always cried at the happy ending, I'd be so scared of the evil orphanage man and woman all the way through! I loved how at Grandfather's house they shook flour over the miniature town scene to look like snow, and I absolutely adored the tartan dresses Heidi and Ursula wore then too. I liked the scene with the girls and Peter in the snowy mountain cave where Ursula recites a poem, and the classroom scene where Heidi points out of the window and says "There". The little feisty blonde girl always made me laugh, like when at the girls are made to leave the school and are put into that black carriage, she snaps something like "Gerroff me!!" at the footman who's trying to help her climb in. She had quite a few bit parts in British tv programmes during the 1990s so I kept seeing her. I wish Juliette was still acting, she was brilliant.

The mirror... it's broken.
Yes, I know. I like it that way. Makes me look the way I feel.

Yes, this movie was very endearing. That's what made it so memorable. And yes, the caliber of acting for such a young cast was top-notch. I've never seen any of the girls in anything else. It's a shame too because they were quite good for their ages.

I agree. Such a nice and entertaining family film!

They use to air it on TV, I thought it was a sweet film.
