Scariest Episode?

What episode of T.F.T.C. was the scariest?(Doesn't necessarily mean the best.)

I started watching the series when I was just a kid, and got really freaked out by the early season ep "The Secret." When the kid turned into a werewolf and went after the male vampire that tried to kill him really jolted me for some reason. I don't know if it would still hold up today, but it's the 1 ep of this series I think of first in this category.

Fitting punishment. Season two . It's wicked eerie.

This is an extremely difficult question. So many of them for me. The fan favorite scary TFTC episode is perhaps Television Terror one of the main ones that are the scariest. Creepy atmosphere, eerie music score, and nice acting.

Television Terror has to be up there for sure.

"Collection Completed". I was very young when I saw that, and I am an animal lover. That really freaked me out.

House of Horror Season 5 has a very creepy suspenseful atmosphere.

I bet you're wondering what a place like this is doing in a girl like me-The Mummy

The New Arrival.

"People Who Live in Brass Hearses" from Season 5.

when I was a kid, it was Korman's Kalamity. it was an intentionally silly episode. but, to my younger mind, the idea of something monstrous springing out of someone's imagination was really nightmare-inducing.

I am not a buff on the series yet. I have only seen a handful of episodes.I could name them, and it wouldn't take long, I don't think it's even 15.

1. You Murderer
2. Surprise Party
3. Doctor of Horror
4. Split Personality
5. Abra Cadaver
6. People of Live in Brass Hearses
7. Three's a Crowd
8. Korman's Kalamity
9. Kidnapper
10. Carrion Death
11. Skin Deep

All of them were creepy, with endings that stick with you. But the ones I basically avoid re-watching are 1 + 4 + 5 and 10. None are "scary." But unsettling yes. The others, while creepy, didn't effect me much.

I've seen a few and the "scariest" one by far is None but the lonely heart mainly because of the ending. Television Terror doesn't even come close nor is it even remotely scary, it had potential but failed imo. I'm off to watch some more to see if any top Nbtlh.

I heard many mention Television Terror as a scary one. I didn't find it the least bit scary, or even creepy. Doctors of Horror, Forever Ambergris, and Abra Cadaver, I felt were creepier than TT.

SCARIEST EPISODES

Some of these aren't in your face scary, but to me these represent the over-all most disturbing and dark episodes. Judge for yourself.

1. Fitting Punishment

Probably the most evil main character of the series; a funeral home director, greedy for profits, is disgruntled when his nephew shows up and needs a place to stay. The innocence and purity of the nephew is what makes the episode even more fascinating since the uncle is downright cruel to him. The last five minutes of this episode are indeed terrorizing.

2. The New Arrival

What starts off like a boring plot (a radio DJ talking to callers, I almost skipped it) turns into a haunted house like you've never imagined. Look for model Twiggy as one of the stars. Great twist ending.

3. Mournin' Mess

Another plot you don't expect to go where it does. Detectives and reporters - eh, seems sort of bland. But the twist in the end is def worth waiting for. Don't watch this one late at night.

4. Forever Ambergris

Steve Buscemi stars a rookie photographer who takes better shots then his idol. He also has a smoking hot wife. The veteran photographer gets jealous, and decides he must get rid of Buscemi so he can steal his photos- and sexy partner. But is everything as it seems?

5. Carrion Death

You'll notice Charlotte York's husband (from Sex and the City) as the lead here in a villainous role out in the dessert. As the title suggests, there is a death here or too. It's the momentum leading up to one of the deaths that is crucial. You'll never look at vultures the same way again.

6. Werewolf Concerto

If you like werewolf movies, watch this episode. The makeup effects are stellar, and Beverly D'Angelo was never more stunning. Predictable? Perhaps- but the werewolf transformation is more then enough to freak you out.

7. Strung Along

If you're creeped out by ventriloquism and dolls, this one will give you an extra jolt of fear. A has-been who used to have a dummy act gets more then he bargained for when his wife decides to hire a young and hot mentor to teach him some new tricks for his show.

8. Death of Some Salesmen

Tim Curry deserved the Emmy for Guest Star (he was nodded) here, and this isn't exactly a scary episode more so as it's an incredibly comical and horrific look into dishonest salesmen and hillbillies.

9. Yellow

Kirk Douglas in an epic performance as a general during World War II who is stuck with a coward for a son who is also serving on his force. All the troops think his son is a punk, so how does a father who likes to look honorable handle this situation? A top episode, and for many the best of the series. It's impeccably shot, scored and directed by Robert Zemeickas. Dan Akroyd also co-stars.

10. Only Skin Deep

A man meets a mysterious woman at a party who won't take off her mask. What's behind it? Very well made, especially for the plummeting of the series by season 6. Great makeup effects.

Honorable Mentions

Split Second - This was not a scary episode in the slightest, but it's a totally whacked out plot and mixes corny with sex and lots of gore. Watch it.

Maniac at Large- Blythe Danner giving arguably the best female leading performance of the series as a mousy librarian's assistant whose fear of a serial killer brings out the worst for everyone involved.

Staired in Horror - New Orleans backdrop and a wicked plot; pretty much just three characters but it's really creepy.

Dead Right- Demi Moore is gorgeous and believable as a golddigger looking for an easy break. A fortune teller informs her that she will meet a man and come into a lot of money, but will also meet a bad fate. Lots of fun.

The Switch - How far will an old man go to get the woman of his dreams? William Hickey and Kelly Preston star in this sad, and intriguing story of an aging millionaire who thinks if he finds a way to look young again he can win the heart of a bombshell. But everything has a price.

Three's a Crowd - The saddest episode of the series. You may only watch it once, but it's very disturbing. A down on his luck artist is jealous his wife spends time with her exboyfriend. But the twist is heartbreaking.

While not the scariest the most disturbing one for me (If I were a character in the show) would be the guy from Til Death, the guy is basically haunted by a zombie woman and kills himself only to be b brought back to life by the voodoo priestess as he wasn't going to take the easy way out.

The Switch - The guy didn't get the woman, but he got his youth back. He can make his money back easily with either his knowledge of what made him rich or even a modeling gig.

BOB SAGEEETTTTT!!!!! - Tourettes Guy
