Did your school have an after school hangout?

That seemed to be a recurring thing on these shows. And I was wondering if it really happened. There was a McDonald's down the street from my school but no one really hung out there, even though people used to go there to order food but then leave. The most hanging out people did was in the parking lot at that same McDonald's after the football games during the fall but eventually the police got all douchebaggy and started harassing people and telling them to go home.
