Sympathy for the Devil

I thought this might be a nice spot to ask this as most of people see the film as an allegory for certain sneaky bastards.

I've Googled this a few times and found absolutely zero on this but for years every time i hear this song it feels like it's so obviously about them, weather in a Kubrick way or rubbing your face in it mocking kind of way

It Basically lists a bunch of significant tragedies and atrocities and claims the 'Devil' was behind it
the ones that really stand out are
'Killed the Tzars and his ministers, Anastacia screamed in vain'
When they overthrew the monarch and installed themselves

And 'We shouted out who killed the Kennedy's, when after all it was you and me'
After every disaster all their appointed talking heads and political 'experts' are first on the scene with outrage pointing fingers and asking what needs to be done when they are the culprits themselves.

And the Sympathy for the Jew part is pointing out that after all the horror and destruction that they cause not only will you not dare accuse them of anything and try to hold them accountable but in fact feel sorry for them because you watched Schindlers List

Just me?
