Which is your favortie?

I loved all of them, but my favorite would be the second one.
The deaths are funnier and more creative (leeches in the out house!!), I actually didnt want molly & sean to die, unlike in number three where all of them could have died and I wouldn't care.
What do yall think?

I really like all three Sleepaway Camp films and in it's order too ( even the titles were a riot lol ) but unfortunately haven't seen the fourth one yet . My favorite has always been the first Sleepaway Camp movie . I remembered it well as a young teen when it was brand new and on video for rental back in the day also lol . Plus the storyline concept was a bit newish at that time too especially the ending lol . I agree haleeylittlee the second movie definitely had a very dark comedic feel to it and yes that Angela was quite " insanely creative " with her " sinister niche " lol . Thanks haleeylittlee for your subject post .

1.Sleepaway Camp - Easily my favorite of the series. The film is great, it's not just the ending. A true cult classic. Offbeat.
2.Return To Sleepaway Camp - I like it. *shrug*
3.Sleepaway Camp 2
4.Sleepaway Camp 3

Haven't seen the 4th, but not like it's a full movie anyways.

2. Sleepaway Camp
3. Sleepaway Camp III

I hate Return so much tht I won't acknowledge it. And Alan is AWFUL!

The original, of course. Loads of memorable characters, (Aunt Martha, Mike Kellin the head of the camp, Judy's cliche bitch persona) and often just plain funny. Hey, bobba re bop. wicked dump. The older campers taking the softball game sooo seriously "we'll get 'em back, we'll get 'em back!". The way Ronnie abruptly shows up a few times "what's goin' on here?". It's all ridiculous fun, and not trying too hard to be funny.

I consider the original to be the epitome of the unintentionally hilarious '80s slasher. It's just so much fun, so that's my favorite. I loooove part 2, as that is intentionally hilarious, but it just doesn't really have quite the same charm as part 1. Part 3 was good, but I didn't care about the characters and the deaths were not as imaginative (I love the ending, though. "Just taking care of business..."). So my ranking goes 1, 2, 3.

1. 3
2. 1
3. 2
4. Return

The first is definitely the best film of the series though. 2 & 3 is just campy fun. I've always preferred the third over the second, although I know most have it the other way around. I've seen 3 so many times I've lost count. As for Return, it sucked.

For me it's the first one by a landslide. It's one of the best slashers of all-time in my opinion while both the second and third rank near the bottom. I didn't like what they did to Angela in the sequels

I love all of them, but the second one has always been my favorite. It is glorious in all its 80's cheese. The mullet, Allie's character (and death), the hilarious one-liners ... I love it! (I do have to say that I love the music from the 3rd one.)

I like the first one best. Angela is a really cool "anti-hero" figure in it. And everyone who dies deserves it in my opinion.

I like the third one secondly. A lot of characters who deserved to get it, got it. But Angela was still a bit OTT in her reasoning. Ans she killed at least one undeserving character. Some funny one-liners and genuinely hilarious moments though!

I like the second one least. There's only one or two that deserve to get killed. The rest are pretty much likable.

Just seen the 4th one and I like that second best now. Everyone who deserved to get it, got killed. Only really one death I thought was unnecessary. Loved the frogs as well.

II, but I think both II and III are great.
