Why were they at the dance club in the 1st place????

They weren't club or party people, I didn't see his best friend and his "girl friend" there either... I just never understood what they were doing there. They looked miserable before he saw the mystery woman.

He was trying to recapture his youth.. that feeling of freedom, spontaneity. His wife looked bored because she was just appeasing him ;)
