Bad editing?

When Burt is looking for the key to the car, and he sees like a fly-swatter or spatula hanging on the wall, and then he searches the rest of the room and turns back around to see the key in place of where the fly-swatter spatula was... is it me or was that terrible editing? It all of the sudden goes back to him facing the other direction, taking the key off the wall. It kind of looks like he went back in time 20 seconds, and was just enterting the room and looking at where the key was hung. Basically, it looked like he turned around to see himself taking the key off the wall.
