Obsessed with MBFIAV since 1987

I remember being seven years old and watching this for the first time with the family in Lake Tahoe on vacation on VHS. It became one of my all time favorite movies then and still is to this day 27 years later. I've actually lost count how many times I've seen it and it still entertains me every time. I'd have to say that this and Teen Wolf were the two regular viewings of my childhood.

David Warner is outstanding, the soundtrack kicks ass, it has a fresh take on vampirism, and the friendship between Ralph/Jeremy is awesome. True best friendship like that is rare. Also I always liked the fact that Jeremy genuinely fell for a girl he connected with and didn't go for the obvious hot chick. It was genuine and not a superficial pairing.
