im female. i just watched it last night and laughed so hard many times. enjoyable movie. everyone esp. de niro did a good job. i almost didnt continue to watch because of the profanity.

Yes..it's one of my favorite movies. I remember when I first saw it on Tv one night on the Disney Channel of all places haha. Probably--maybe my favorite DeNiro movie. Love the profanity also lmao!

my mother recommended this film to me originally and my wife loves it so yeah, I reckon girls like this film too!
shareIn 1988 I was married to a career Navy man and we were getting transferred from the East Coast to San Diego. The night before my hubby flew out there, we had dinner at a chain restaurant (Quincy's Steakhouse, don't think it's around any more) and then went to see "Midnight Run," because I've always liked DeNiro. We were pleasantly surprised by the movie, as I had never seen DeNiro in a comedy before. Great acting, great story, great cast. I've been divorced for a few years now and have moved back to the East Coast--but this movie has remained one of my favorite comedies. Just finished watching an upload of it on YouTube.

A friend (girl) told me that this and "Casino" were her favorite De Niro films, and so (because I'm on a massive De Niro kick, for the first time in my life, really) I decided to watch it on Netflick's Instant Watch. I just finished the second half of it yesterday. LOVE this movie. It's hilarious and good fun all around...and well, De Niro's really good looking in it, too.

I loooove this movie, it's super funny, happy ending, and honestly the main reason I saw it is because I love Robert De Niro, he is a great actor, he's funny when he has to be funny and he is super hot, he looks better in goodfellas and awakenings though, and on taxi driver but I guess that's because like 10 years youger there. And I forgot about Once upon a time in America.. well he looks great on every movie, and they are all good... except for Showtime, I hate that one.
