Picture quality

It’s interesting how growing up, all the Halloween movies (1-5 at least) had a similar look and picture quality to them, due to all of them being in 4:3 standard definition making their presentations equal. So I never noticed the drop in picture quality between Halloween 3 and 4 until I saw all the films in high definition, which definitely changes my appreciation for 2 and 3 since they visually seem way superior to 4, which has the cinematography of a 1990s Hallmark/Lifetime movie by comparison. Halloween 5 has a more dark atmospheric look, but 4 is definitely the weakest of the earlier films in terms of cinematography.
