Myers Can Talk

does anybody buy this theory? he can actually speak and has appeared as background characters throughout the movie (ie: one of those pranksters dressed up in the overalls/masks). I'm not sure if I'm all in on this one, but I do like it.

Myers can talk, he just chooses not to. He hasn't spoken a word since he was 6 years old, including the 2 previous films he was in and had no reason to start now. And was hideously burned and had bandages to cover up those burns. Even if he took them off, he would look a lot worse than Loomis and people would notice, especially Meeker and Loomis himself. He's seen what adult Michael looks like.

So no, he was not the pranksters, but he may have been the one tailing Rachel, or it could've been a prankster. He definitely was the one coming out of the mist/fog at Rachel when she ran. He was also the one behind the cop car as it sped away, the pranksters already unmasked and ran away.

So there were technically 4 Michaels. The real one and 3 fakes.

Nice theory, though.

i still like the theory, but i'm not sure it holds up based on the scars alone. but the line "you thought it was me, didn't you?!" is still kind of an enigma. shouldn't it have been "you thought it was him, didn't you?!" i think this is where it (theory) gained some traction.

It's a goof. This movie had plenty. Pleasece wore his hat in half his scenes, had to be re-shot. The white haired Michael that wasn't re-shot. They were on a schedule and limited time, given the night scenes, conditions and population.

I don't hold much stock in it. Wouldn't Michael's voice be deeper, as a 31 year old man vs. some teenager? Or altered because of the burns? He didn't sound like that in those lines. It's a theory, with no basis in fact. Michael hasn't spoken since 1963.

I'm sure he was hiding among them. Michael can talk but chooses not to
