One can definitely see the director's perversion on display here with the young boys either naked or prancing around in their underwear. I guess Sam Rockwell was too old even then to satisfy him as he's the only one who doesn't disrobe. Sick...and not very good either. Bad writing, bad direction and horrid acting. I think even Sam would be embarassed about it.

I agree with the OP , I watched it before I knew the sordid backstory about this film and even watching it without knowing I was like what is going on there ? I was wondering why there was so many scenes with the two young actors with their shirt off , they were unecessary (Seriously they could have gone in the cutting room floor the film still would have made sense) and did not add anything to the plot ... When I found out about what has happened I was not surprised and at the same time i felt dirty from watching this piece of garbage...I hope that Salva cannot work with kids anymore ...
