Good idea, but not very interesting

I loved the idea of a monster that comes alive when it's drawn on paper.

Great concept. Worked before but sadly not in this movie. The monster is all right, but the characters are so dull and uneventful. I basically couldn't have cared less if they lived or died.

To be fair I struggled with this movie. I stopped it a few times and came back to it. Not the best, but okay. Perhaps a generous 4 out of 10.
