Tim Burton's 2nd best?

Pretty sure everyone agrees that Ed Wood is the best film that Tim Burton has made and probably will ever have made.

But Beetlejuice comes in a close second for me.

Wittier, funnier and more satirical than his other 80's and 90's efforts, Beetlejuice doesn't have the schmaltz of the, admitadly well-made schmaltz of Edward Scissorhands nor does it have the gloomy superhero-ness of his Batman films.

Beetlejuice sees the whole cast enjoying themselves, especially Michael Keaton who is fantastic in the title role.

For me, Edward Scissorhands is tops. 2nd place is a toss-up between Beetlejuice and Batman, though I'm a big fan of Sleepy Hollow as well.

I like Beetlejuice, Big Fish, and Batman/Batman Returns. I'm just not a fan of Johnny Depp, personally.
