Is the Army guy with the long hair and beard Al Cliver from Zombi 2? It looks just like him.

no, it's stuntman Ottaviano Dell'Acqua, who coincidentally played the zombie with the worms hanging out of his eye (the one on the box cover) from ZOMBI 2.

Actually, the guy who looks like Al Cliver is Rod, played by Nick Nicholson. Ottaviano Dell'Acqua (who was also Roger from Zombi 3) played one of the scientists in the beginning.

that's what I meant... those were scientists at the beginning? I don't remember them having any names or characterization or anything.

They were researching Cancer or some sh*t and that voodoo witch doctor was pissed because his daughter died from it. He blamed the scientists.

No, it’s not Al Cliver. It’s funny though, because there are several Italian horror films that have an Al Cliver look alike.
