Why wasn't I born lesbian?

Recently I watched a couple of movies that are just making me believe men are just disgusting pigs. I recently watched "The Babysitters" a bunch of married guys who start paying high school girls to have sex with them; "The Loft" about a bunch of friends, all married, who rent an apartament just to take their affairs; "Higher Learning" featuring a bunch of frat boys one of which raped a girl; "North Country" inspired in a true story of a group of women who worked on a mine and were the first ones to win a case on sexual harassment at work; and the worst of it "Whistleblower" based on a true story about military men on a mission in Kosovo who used to go to bars to have sex and to torture girls who were enslaved by a sex trafficking organization...

Everytime I watch a movie like that the only thing I can think is why wasn't I born a lesbian? Because it makes me loose all hope that I have to subject myself to this sort of disgusting crapy men if I ever want to find someone nice to be a companion who won't cheat with some high school girl or who doesn't have a past of raping women.

To observe the amount of men who see women as sex objects is terrifying. The worst thing is that they actually think women like to be raped and they don't think they've done anything wrong. How is that even possible? You hurt a person, another human being, and you don't even acknowlegde or have the dignity to assume what you did?
In this movie in particular, the fact that the guy continued to be friends with the rapists even after seeing what he done makes me wonder whether there are still men will values who know to tell right from wrong.

One thing is to "rape" your girlfriend as part of a sexual fantasy.

The other thing is to rape a random girl who doesn't know you and don't want to have sex with you.

Having sex with children is also appealing to pedophiles. It also happens to be a crime.

And btw, nothing sexy about the rapes of Game of Thrones. Ramsey was a pig, if a men like him raped I'd get into a bath or a shower and only leave a month later.

Dude, whatever, just make sure you only do it with your girlfriend.

When a girl puts a miniskirt it means the girl wants to wear a miniskirt because she feels good on it not because she wants to be raped. Girls simply like to feel good not necessarly to get compliments from men sometimes just to feel good with themselves or to feel better than other women. You men really need to understand that it's not all about you.

The rape scenes in GoT were VERY sexy, especially Daenerys being anally raped very early on in season 1.

Uh..no they weren't..they were pretty horrific.

I like GOT but for most females it does not depict sexuality geared toward the excitement of the female. And rapes never hot to me..

What a shame my previous post has been deleted. I was expressing how much me and my girlfriend get turned on by watching sexy girls getting raped from various movies or TV shows.

And also that any girl who puts on a miniskirt, is simply 'asking' to be raped. It really is that simple.
There are two possibilities here. 1) You're an *beep* and an idiot who thinks it's funny to write the worst kind of vile *beep* on the internet as a "joke," or 2) You're an *beep* who isn't joking around and is actually dangerous. You'll notice that both clearly have you being an *beep* Those are the only two options.

I checked out some other recent posts from you. You've been reported to IMDb and I hope they ban you. *beep* you.

If/when IMDb bans you or removes your garbage from the board, I will delete this post.

Dany wasn't anally raped. You realize that it's possible for a woman to be vaginally penetrated from behind, right? This makes me question whether you actually have a girlfriend or, in fact, whether you've ever had sex. Way to tip your hand. But then I guess you're used to your hand.

Much appreciated IMDb. You absolutely did the right thing. Many thanks. If you need me to take down my post above (which includes one of that member's many offenses) please let me know. Maybe it's good to leave up as a kind of warning? If sick people need to write that kind of stuff on the internet, there's plenty of other places they can go. Thanks again... 

He's lucky I don't know him or I'd cut his *beep* dick off.

Because you're allowing yourself to focus only on negative attributes. The world is full of people with ugly intentions. People that do terrible terrible things. But (and this is very important) every person is complex, full of good and full of evil, it all depends on circumstance.

It's good to be aware of possibly hostile situations and to act accordingly if you feel you are entering into one. It's bad to assume all situations are hostile. "Bad" in the sense that you're going to cheat yourself out of the good things life has to offer.

Think about the countless times in history when people were judged based solely on an attribute they had no real way to control. So many atrocities committed when people start to think along these lines. Don't let fear or hate compromise who you are. Don't cheat yourself out of a relationship with someone because he or she might be capable of doing something base.
And if you do encounter someone with ill intent you fight, you fight with all you got.

I hope you take this to heart, and I hope you have a happy life with whomever you choose to spend it with.

wow, you are probably the first person online that don't answer with an insult (which actually is what I expect everytime I get a notification that someone replied to any comment of mine). Your message is a really good one, I am just sorry that sometimes I go through phases where I am so angry that I can't feel it.

But really the best way to prove you are right is not through words but through attitudes, and your friendly comment was the best message you could send. :) Thank you!! :) Best wishes to you too!

First, being a lesbian doesn't leave a person invulnerable. I get your point, believe me. But whether a lesbian or not, we all have to live together as people and deal with each other.

Second, my husband has no history of rape and I'm 100% certain wouldn't cheat with a high school girl or any woman. It IS possible. There ARE real, respectful men out there.

The part I don't understand is why she's getting her reality from Hollywood, as opposed to what she's experienced. That genuinely has me puzzled. I don't know if she's trolling or serious.

Were you born ignorant, or did you just grow up that way? You watch a film about a bunch of male dirtbags with redneck attitudes raping a defenseless woman, and it makes you believe that ALL men are disgusting pigs. Why? How a small minority of men behave, is not indicative of an "entire" gender and this film wasn't designed or meant to give out that message. That is your own biased and slanted take on the issue, to give you an excuse to vilify men, due to your own displaced aggression.

Perhaps you are a lesbian, because the scorn, contempt and bitterness you have projected in your post towards the male gender, makes you sound like you have envy or jealousy issues for not being a man yourself. Perhaps the film pushed a button with you and made you feel insecure, because if you were a man yourself, you might act in the same manner these pr!cks did. Now go and ponder on that for a while and keep your narrow and simpleminded attitude in check, if you know how.

OP:
Really, "every time" you watch a movie. Every time?

I see that you're gone now, but I wish you were born a lesbian also, so there would be more less female to control, emasculate, and emotionally-rape men in the world. Of course, it would mean you'd have to support ($$) yourself.

Ha!
Because if they don't, the woman will accuse of them of being controlling ,insensitive and not caring about their "needs". These type of women with the mouth, choose wimps for a reason.

You should look into studies about domestic violence in lesbian households. It might broaden your idea of pigs to include women as well.

Rape is disgusting but you can also find plenty of disgusting videos on the internet like ones of a woman screaming rape after resisting arrest with a very patient officer who was forced to subdue her, or videos like new-age feminists calling women like Christina Sommers a rape-enabling misogynist for simply debunking feminine myths about rape culture and citing facts. That's also disgusting, and it's far more widespread than actual rape.

Men are largely disgusting by your standards if you account for their libido. They are very horny creatures who are biologically programmed to seek to reproduce at every opportunity, but the vast, vast majority of them are not rapists and pedophiles as weak women seeking entitlement more than equality will claim. We don't live in a "rape culture". The gender wage gap has been thoroughly debunked. The "1 in 4 women have been sexually assaulted on campus statistic" has been thoroughly debunked.

The vast majority of men also don't see women as sex objects. A large number of them might drool over Jessica Alba, but that doesn't mean that they only seek to have a girlfriend who looks like Jessica Alba. Get out in the world a bit, experience men's perspective not through hysterical media and feminist propaganda but by actually talking to them. You'll find most of them genuinely care more about having a decent girl who they can talk to and enjoy their time with both in and out of the bedroom than a bitchy, high-maintenance supermodel. It's for similar reasons that a young girl might swoon over Justin Bieber even though he appears to be an egotistical brat in real life. It doesn't mean such women simply view men as sex objects or even necessarily want Justin Bieber as a boyfriend.

That's fantasy land and most grown men and women are capable of separating fantasy from reality. Having sexual fantasies that involve really handsome men or really beautiful women doesn't mean that your view of the opposite gender boils down to sex objects.

I'd recommend the same thing to men who have an extremely low view of women which is easy to have when you judge women by radical feminists who claim victimhood every possible chance they can get. My advice to everyone who starts developing a low view of the opposite gender is just get out more and actually seek meaningful social interactions with the opposite sex.

Hysterical outcries of institutional oppression tend to give us an extremely distorted view of society. White people are devils responsible for everything wrong with the black community. Men are pigs, rapists, pedophiles. Women are weak-minded people driven by emotions who belong in a kitchen. These kinds of stereotypes will continue to appear true as long as we're getting our source of information from people who appeal to strong emotions that support their view rather than facts and the actual people living right outside our homes.
