What was Lecy thinking with the short hair?

That short haircut she got looked awful, looked like a bowl cut with the bangs chopped off, and then you could see the back of her shaved head under it, it just looked terrible.

It did get a little cuter later on when it grew out a bit like here

But man after she first got it cut it looked ugly as sin.
