I don't see the 1979 version mentioned on this board. IMDb has the 1979 and 1988 versions both as 7.1. I think the animated '79 version is much better. This '88 version, come on, the special effects are just so pathetic. It had some good things, but the '79 version kicks its butt. Who's with me?

shareYeah, okay, so I watched the 1979. It is faster moving than the 1988 and things such as the beavers are handled somewhat better, but it is still one of the worst excuses for an animated feature ever. The animation is just plain awful, Tumnus being the worst done character. Much better in the 1988.
