Greatest movie endings ever??

This is pretty much the greatest ending to any movie ever. The only other comparable one I know of is an older flick with Roy Scheider called "52 Pick-up". A blackmailer/murderer is terrorizing Roy's character and in the end along with the money, the bad guy takes Roy's Jaguar. When he starts the car up you hear the radio saying, "Hello, so and so, welcome to the last 10 seconds of your life" The doors lock, music starts playing, the bad guy is frantically trying to get out and the car then blows up. An ending beyond excellence from a little know film.

Anyone have any other endings that might compare???

It was definitely memorable. I saw it on VHS when I was 13 (1988) at my friend Tom's house (the reason we watched it in the first place was because we'd heard about the ending). I just watched it again tonight for the first time in 32 years and I didn't remember a single scene or plot point from it; it was like watching it for the first time, except for the ending, which I remembered vividly, even the parking-lot-filled-with-people-at-night setting of it.
