This movie is so terrible, yet I love it. Some of the funniest scenes I have ever seen in a movie are in this one. Plus the explosion at the end totally rules.

Yes, the film is unintentionally ludicrous, but there are a few well-etched scenes and Reynolds' superb performance to give it girth. Plus, there's a great luscious score by David Newman.

The cheesy explosion fx during the climax
negated anything of interest that came before.

This cannot be relegated to 1980's explosion fx
since Die Hard was released in the same decade.
