Am I the only one who loves the sound of Kiefer's/David's laugh? Every time I watch this movie - which has been a lot, recently - I look forward to hearing that laugh.

Yeah. Very charismatic fella, David was. Kiefer knocked it out of the park with not so much as saying a word most of the time. Just a look, head tilt, then the dark laugh. Then he goes silent. That says a lot about how he wants to obey the head vampire's orders, but feeling remorse and not wanting to kill Michael at all. Kinda wish he lived in the end.

According to what I've read about "The Lost Boys: Reign of the Frogs," he did survive the final battle. Apparently, the antlers missed his heart. So, I guess that his apparent, "death," in the movie was really him ... passing out because of the pain?
Very interesting... Antlers are made of bone, not wood, so technically they shouldn't kill a vampire. Maybe he got hurt pretty bad, lol so he went into shock and yes, passed out...
Do I have to watch the sequels before reading the comic? Or does it take place right after the end of TLB 1?

His laugh is kinda goofy and deep, contrasts amusingly with his occasionally camp delivery ‘come with us Michael’.
