Most unattractive Bond girl ever???

I've seen all 23 Bond movies and this girl has got to be the most unattractive out of all of them. She has a weird looking haircut and a narrow face to go with it. She also has some weird sounding accent which just makes it even worse for her.

And she just acts incredibly dopey throughout ... really irritated me.

Wow.. Pretty harsh. D'Abo is very attractive in the film -- probably the first "cute" Bond Girl, as opposed to "gorgeous".

And it's quite obvious y'all never saw her spread in that 1987 issue of Playboy...

D'Abo came across as a mousy housewife.

Cute? Sure!

Someone who should have been a Bond girl? Probably not.

I have to go with:
Honor Blackman, a.k.a. Miss Pussy Galore. What a total effing misnomer!

Thats Valerie Leon (from Hammers Blood from the Mummy´s Tomb) at the hotel in TSWLM. Yes Kara is frail, but...what...spread out in the Playboy? Well, maybe she just "acted" actually, frail and dopey in the Living Daylight, after all!

reply

Gotta disagree... she's gorgeous, just my type.

"Hitler! C'mon, I'll buy you a glass of lemonade."

reply

She's not the worst bond girl, but really, how does she help him in the whole plot?

reply

Are you kidding me? She was integral in the end and showed a lot of courage, as well as physical prowess kicking the crap outta some commies in the air base scene battle. She also helped Bond beat Necros by pitching the plane up and down. She was a lot more useful than a lot of other Bond girls, that's for sure (Stacey from AVTAK? my god..)

And I don't get why people say she wasn't a good actor, I thought she was great. The scene when she blows up at Dalton and spews Russian obscenities at him calling him a back-end of horse and crying at the same time..my god, that was terrific acting! I never once felt she was trying to act, she just seemed natural. After all, according to Roger Moore what makes a good actor is his or her ability to act like they're not acting.

reply

she was just a sex object. no kidding.

I think the Bond girl in "License to Kill" is least appealing to me, being too tomboyish. Maryam d'Abo is one of my top 5 but it's mostly because she's my type; cute doll face, big brown eyes, blonde hair, kind demeanor...

Mayday.

He said "most unattractive Bond girl" not "Bond tranny" 😀
