SO LUCKY he ended up on the scientists glasses

Sometimes I lie awake at night thinking how lucky it was that Tuck Pendleton was sneezed onto that guys glasses. Imagine if he had missed the glasses? He could have ended up anywhere, and they would never have found him. It really is ridiculously lucky. He's lucky he wasn't traumatized after such a near-death experience.

and he wanted to wipe it off

Yep, I always thought of that too, what also bothers me is that they make no preparation for the sneeze, they were just going to let Jack sneeze into nothing lol.

They should have had him sneeze onto a large blank surface, large enough to collect all of the saliva he expelled.

This is a remake of Fantastic Voyage and that scene was an homage to that earlier movie where the micronauts were rescued from a teardrop scooped out of the corner of an eye. A large blank surface wouldn't have had any connection with an eye.

"Innerspace" is not, in any way, a remake of "Fantastic Voyage". They are both about a miniaturized vessel injected into a human body. However, the characters and plot are completely different, and one is serious, the other is a comedy.
