Who saw this in theaters?

I did when I was 5 years old 2 times and thought it was a fun sequel.

I wish I was around to see it, it must have been amazing. I have a special place in my heart for this, and I'm usually not that generous when it comes to sequels.

I did, and I had the poster when it went to video! I loved the raft, hitchhiker was ok, wooden dick sucked.

Can't believe I saw it twice. Both times me and the person I was with were practically the only people in the theater.

I was 9 and my mom took me to see it. The theater was packed and I was so scared (in a good way lol)! Everyone screamed during the trailer for Evil Dead 2, and also at the end of The Raft segment when the blob leaps up on Randy lol

I wasn't born yet but you can bet I would've been right there in the theaters if I was. This movie and the first are two of the best I've seen.

I saw it at the theater in 87. It was an O.K. movie, but....

The scene at the end of the "blob" skit, where that thing comes out of the water.....That scene took this movie to a whole other level. On the huge movie screen, one of the greatest shock-effects EVER!!!

I was 15 when it came out and saw it with my two best friends. We loved it, especially the last segment.

I did, I recall it was my mom, my aunt, my cousin and me (I was 12).

My family had a bad habit of going to the movies at ANY time (start times be dam.ned) and we just walked into the theater when The Raft was getting underway (I specifically remember the college guys taking off their gear to get in the water)...we watched the rest of it, waited for the movie to start over again...then watched the Intro and 'Ol Chief Wooden Head...then when it got back to the part we walked out!

How dumb was that?!?! Did so many movies like this growing up in the 80s! Including Aliens, Cobra and countless others I can't recall anymore.

I saw it when it came out and agreed with pretty much everyone, including critics and viewers at the time, that the second segment was the best. The other 2 segments tried to inject some social commentary a la Twilight Zone but that kind of thing didn't quite work for Creepshow. The hitchhiker segment overtly referenced the dragging deaths of black men we've seen in the news, but it was just too crudely made even for horror. And of course, in this kind of films, sex kills. The lady driver was sex-starved, and the teenagers on the raft were promiscuous. So the only thing missing was someone humping that Indian statue!
