Why?

Why is this movie played on Showtime 365 days out of the year?

reply

I think it's some strange sort of cable tradition. When I had cable, it was USA; evidently it's Showtime's turn.

reply

Because the critics hated it and it is very, very fuunny.
You either love it or you hate it.

reply

You are a piece of *beep* for liking this movie.

reply

Well we DO NOT CARE YOU FOOL

Just coz you Hate it
Why are we fools for enjoying a FILM
Its entertainment
Just coz you do not get it
Or like it for that matter
We don't have to stand here and take your verbally fouled abuse
We can like and hate what we want so stop calling us a piece of *beep* for liking what we like
I can say the same about you for what you like, but then i'd be hyporcritical!
Right?
So leave it mate
Get over yourself
Leave us alone.

you earn scorn and contempt for openly embracing a crappy, shallow, vapid, unfunny film, by a hack director, just as you would earn scorn and contempt for openly embracing a crappy, shallow, vapid, untalented band.

if you want to like it, that is your business. but, the moment you proclaim a public endorsement of something (crappy), be prepared to catch flack from dissenters.

don't like it -- don't post!!!

What the *beep* is a Chinese Downhill?!?

reply

It is still playing almost that often and several times a day on Encore. If you ever want to see the 2nd and 3rd Twilight see them on Showtime.
There are about 30 movies they do this with. I feel it is a big ripoff. I mainly put up with it because of the original series and an occasional movie that gets hardly any exposure.
I have been thinking of using online TV sources like Hulu and Netflix for over a year. I suppose when this TV dies I will start using the PC for viewing. Online services should be better then.
