This show could not be made today

Too many PC azzholes, feminists and SJW´s, imagine the no ma'am t-shirts, and then you got all the gay jokes as well, show would be banned and canceled ! Or rather, it would not even get out of the script fase.

Yeah the show was very funny but most people wouldn't know comedy unless it was generic or full of cussing. I guess doing the same jokes over and over never gets old. Sure the show had recurring but kept fresh and interesting

I'm black, female, straight, and lean Left politically - and I love this show. Even like the No Mam (spelling?) shirts. Nothing offensive to me on this show.
My late 80-something year old Mom loved this show. She watched it faithfully.
Married With Children ... fun times ...

It's funny because I assume many of the "thick skinned" right-wingers today see this show and believe it was made for them. The creators of the show would've disagreed with that completely. At best, the things some of the more far left-leaning viewers will find most offensive about this show, is the cracks at overweight women, the way women are treated like objects, and of course Al himself. Yes, many of these so-called "Social Justice Warriors" would no doubt find plenty of things wrong with this show (and it's easy to see why Al would appeal to "REAL" man), but the sex jokes, sleazy characters, and overall anti-family message of the show? Who do you think could possibly find that more offensive? That's right, conservatives. For example, Terry Rakolta, a republican activist, famously tried to get the show off the air because it offended her in every possible way. The conservative Parents Television Council? Lol, they consistently bashed Married with Children for sending all the wrong messages. Some Republicans today might say that's not them anymore and that they are not so easily "triggered"... but boy, their "values" and never ending anti-liberal tirades disagree with that entirely.

Furthermore, remember in the episode where Kelly is tricked into believing she's joined a smart club but in reality she is there as a dumb date? It's later shown that ultra conservative Dan Quayle was voted as the dumb winner a year prior. Oh, it was also made clear that Marcy wasn't only an admitted soulless and money-hungry person, but also a proud republican. She also refused to help a freezing Bud and Kelly that one time BECAUSE she was a Republican, haha. Doesn't sound so pro-right, does it? And those weren't the show's only conservatives jokes.

All in all, the show is for anyone that doesn't take things too seriously. And while I can understand why it is seen as white trash by some, this show was all about raunchy comedy that was meant to appeal to all kinds of people.

Both political parties have always had people like that though she was basically a republican version of Tipper Gore and was tied to Mitt Romney's family, I think such establishment associated people are a far cry from the average joe democrat and republican in what will "outrage" them.

Believe or not, there are apolitical people that don't really care who you offend or don't offend in _HUMOR_, as long as it's funny. You don't have to take EVERYTHING seriously, there has to be a time to relax sometimes.

Make fun of me or anything 'I stand for' (not that I really do) as much as you want, just make it funny.
