Amy and Amibility. especially Blackadder's like in response to Amy's enquiry

"What about George's lovey-wovey poems that won my hearty-wearty?"

"All written-witteny by me-wee I'm afriady-wady"

If I can't save you, I swear to God, I am gonna stop you!

I also like "The Cavalier Years" when Blackadder sums up he predicament

'Oh God, one measly civil war in the entire history of England and I'm on the wrong bloody side!'

If I can't save you, I swear to God, I am gonna stop you!

"Amy and Amibility" - it never slows down. The final scene where Blackadder drops the tray is something amazing (the backward reel) and used for the first (and only?) time in the whole series. The dying squirrels, the scenes in the wood, the robbing extravaganza, the weird female characters, the serenade under the balcony, the "marry Baldrick" remark... It's got so much high-octane entertaining material that the original Blackadder episodes fade in comparison.

You don't have to wait WHEN a proper joke comes, you have to constantly press the pause button in order to get them all and have time to laugh your rear off.

the first episode is my favourite too. It's hilarious, especially as it is very close to the truth - there really were rotten boroughs where there were hardly any voters.
