Did Rachel Dolezal ever see this movie?

Although Rachel Dolezal did not try to get into Harvard Law, she did try to get into Howard University in 2002 and filed a lawsuit for her not being accepted as a white woman.

Since then, or perhaps even before then, she has changed her appearance, identifies as black, and became the NAACP Spokane president.

Just curious if she possibly saw this movie and could have applied the same idea to her life? Could she have possibly learned any of the consequences portrayed in this movie?

That's all I can think about since the story came out.

I've never seen this movie but saw some clips on YouTube and I also thought about Rachel Dolezal. From what they showed it almost seemed like her life story....Which, by the way, she is now writing a book about her life in black and white.

Do I drink because my dreams don't come true, or don't my dreams come true because I drink?

Rachel Dolezal is just your typical ignorant, uneducated, thug Democrat.

Say what you will about those frickin Republicans (and personally I hate them), I doubt a white Republican would identify as a black person, or any other ethnic minority, in order to get into a good college after their lawsuit claiming that they were subjected to racism for being white had been rejected.

That's very much the type of thing an insecure or self-hating white 'liberal' would do.

Its the Shaun King story...

It's suspiciously similar to her story. I'd say there is a good chance that she saw it and decided to try the same. Oscar Wilde did say that "life imitates art far more than art imitates life" and this could be a good example for it.
