The Psycho franchise is my 2nd favorite Horror franchise with A Nightmare on Elm Street being #1.I adore the first four films,Enjoy the remake & I haven't seen Bates Motel sadly enough so here is my perspective:

Psycho(1960) 10/10:
"This is the brith of the Slasher genre if you ask me and is the most well made of the bunch.Psycho just has a very natural and organic narrative that puts you directly into the mind-set the film wants you to be in.Psycho is very classy and features a sympathetic but still meaning villain."

Psycho II 10/10:
"This is the purest a sequel has every been it expands upon the story provided in the original all so brilliantly.The film is very close to the level of general filmmaking quality of the original."


Psycho IV:The Beginning 9/10:
"A wonderful mix of both sequel and prequel.This film does a better job at being a prequel than the lackluster TV series that's going on these days."

Psycho III 8/10:
"A spiritual remake of the original and that has far more in common with the original than II but still they both are amazing films.I obviously like II more than III.But I do appreciate certain aspects of III."

Psycho(1998) 7/10:
"I appreciate the shot for shot experiment while it did fail in certain aspects I say I enjoy it overall."
