I caught it on Starz or something in 2004. I recognized Rusty from EV, Nick from The Fog and it was the director of Monster Squad. I gave it a shot and haven't looked back since. Found a VHS copy on Craigs List.

I'm 30. Don't remember this one, but I was only 8 when it came out...
Glad I've seen it now, though. A new favorite!

I'm twenty-eight now but was around seven when I first saw it on video, I remember my whole family for years (way back then) would always quote "screaming like banshees" with a cheesy accent.

What a classic, I have fond memories of growing up with this movie and find it really disappointing that it hasn't made it to DVD yet but hopeful that when it finally does, it'll be released in a stunning special edition similar to that of 'The Monster Squad'.

I have to admit I check on here every fortnight or so to see if there's any news of a DVD release...

Dekker is an underrated director.

i'm 22 and just saw NOTC in full for the first time last night. it was amazing, to say the least. i haven't enjoyed an entire 80's horror movie like this in years. and i'm a little obsessed with the "getting ready for the formal" montage as well.

I'm 36. I wrote the IMDb mini-bios on both Tom Atkins and writer/director Fred Dekker.

41 here. Watched it on video with my brother countless times back in the 80's (when you got vids from a little mom and pop outfit, not a massive chain). Like many others, I drop by here a couple of times a year hoping to see some buzz about a DVD release.

31, first saw this on HBO back in '88 or so. I saw it again about 8 years ago expecting to not like it as much as I did as a kid and I think I loved it even more than before.

19. I've known about the cult phenomenon behind this flick and Dekker's "The Monster Squad" for awhile now, and have recently found a torrent for this film. I downloaded it, and loved the flick. Now, I'm hoping for a DVD release.
