Did they ever date or were together (per say)?
I ask seeing how both their backgrounds were into music and can't say for Gene Simmons but Vanity was known to be a big party girl. So for me I could see those two meshing.

Yes I know Gene is/was with Shannon Tweed (which is why I feel he could be w/ someone like Vanity) and Vanity once dated Nikki Sixx (a rocker like Gene).

But don't see anything listed as putting them in connection besides this movie. So looking for serious answers plz

Unlikely I'd say. Gene sounds like a real anti-booze and drugs, uptight muppet.

Where as Vanity on the other hand was on it like it was going out of style.

Yeah I thought he was anti-drugs because when Whitney Houston died he said something about her wanting to die or she wouldn't have used drugs and alcohol like she did. I remember he took some heat for saying that.

I didn't hear anything about Gene and Vanity having a relationship. Vanity was a heavy drug user back then and Gene abhorred drugs. That may have been a deal breaker.
