The house in this film looks really familiar. Was this house featured in Ace ventura, Heres a pic of Ron's mansion from that film but I cant find one from the money pit. http://blog.622design.com/weblog/images/100_0230.JPG

Im talking about the house you see in the end credits.

I noticed that too. It was used in Any Given Sunday also. It does not mention it as a filming location in The Money Pit. Villa Vizcaya - 3251 S. Miami Ave., Miami, Florida, USA.

That is the same house. It's a famous estate in the Miami area I think, I believe it might be open for tours and stuff too, but I'm not sure. I did see it on a documentary once.

My wife thought it was the same home from Father Of The Bride. She loves that house. I don't think it's the same house.
