Highlander: The Search for Vengeance

Even though this is an anime film, it is the 2nd best Highlander movie. It follows Colin MacLeod from his emergence as an immortal in 125 AD (flashbacks) to his adventures in 2187. It is well written and treats the source material (as in the 1st movie, not the books) with far more respect than the sequels do.
I am a huge fan of the first Highlander and this is the only other movie in the franchise that I enjoyed. Give it a shot. I know that Japanese animation is not for everyone but if you love Highlander, then you will ultimately be pleased.
