little richard's great gosh a'mighty available as two different versions

i first heard the song great gosh a mighty through this movie, and for a long time that was the only way for me to experience it until i recently found a release available of little richards 1986 album "lifetime friend", the album opens up with great gosh a mighty and is followed by nine other great tracks, i can't remember ever getting so hooked on an entire album, and then i got the soundtrack to this movie, to realise the 1986 little richard album and the 1986 movie soundtrack are two different recordings! i just took for granted they had featured the track from the album in the movie, it must be a rare happening to have two different recordings in the same year of the same song by the same artist on original album and movie soundtrack. i've read that it was the latest tune he got a bit of a hit with, they must not have heard his 2002 cover of cash's classic "get rhythm", i guess "shake it all about" from the early 1990's was little richard's latest album, so you've got these pioneers still around making beats like no others and they are not recording!!!!!!!! anyway, so if you are totally hooked on that tune i had to let you know there is another version available!

michelle is my speech writer,
a guarantee every time,
won't fail when i copy the lines,
i've been struggling to get the speech right,
but with michelle behind,
i got a speech that will blow your mind,
one that i've been wanting to make all my life,
if the right words you fail to find,
she's there for you, she's there for me alike,
just rely on lady michelle to make it alright.
