The scene where Iza & 1 of the cave woman talking during fish hunting. She says to Iza "Ayla is so ugly. She'll never find a mate". What made her say that? Ayla obviously isn't ugly at all. She's pretty. Was it cuz of this reason? Unlike the others who were dark haired & dark eyes, she was blond & blue eyes? They saw that look as "ugly" ?

She was a Cro-Magnon who was ugly to Neanderthals. She didn't look like them. Amongst other Cro-Magnon, Ayla was breathtakingly beautiful, but she was a total dog to Neanderthals.

Hey, I'm a Neanderthal myself and I find Daryl Hannah ugly as hell. In fact, most of you people look ugly to me. Ron Perlman would be the only exception.
