Fisher Stevens ?
Where the hell is Fisher Stevens today ? This was possibly his best work in this film.

I agree. Many times after Carlos came on the scene I was wondering -- how come he's not in more films these days -- is it because there are not many hispanic roles? Near the end, it dawned on me, this is a familiar character actor with more lines and scenes than usual. Fisher had disappeared into the role.
I miss Big Band music and talented singers. Leonard Cohen is my idol. Civility, harmony, unity!
Cannot STAND this character! The actor is okay, but the script is atrocious, written by someone who, like Stevens, has vanished. BTW, Stevens played an East Indian in the short-lived TV series, Key West. He is not Latin.
