That is utterly bollocks! There is no way Dwayne Johnson can replace anyone in the remake of Big Trouble in Little China! AH MEDIOCRE HOLLYWOOD!!! I had enough of this remakes. There is no point in going backwards. What is done is done. Period. We need fresh ideas not milking out classic films.

You have a film with a cult following and a hurting Hollywood which can't come up with GOOD new movies. So, now they try to bank on people going to watch a remake of a movie that was grateful in it's over the top cheesiness...I won't be watching a remake of this.

The thing is, big trouble on little china is so awesome because of Kurt Russell. The joke of the movie is that jack is completely useless in pretty much every situation until the end. A Hollywood remake would completely miss the point and have Johnson in full hero mode as burton. Why not bring Kurt Russell back even in a quick cameo, make it a new story, just dont try and rehash the original which has such a special charm and great cast that pull it all together to make it the cult classic it is.
