I WORKED ON THE FILM ... and had a blast.

I was fortunate to be a Production Assistant on the BAND OF THE HAND ... and we shot all over Miami & the Everglades.

Real gators. Real water moccasins. Real Fire Ants in the Vans. Real Miami Beach with thunder & lighting everynight at dusk.

And ... a Real great time.

Despite the crazy schedule -- the change in the lead actor after 3 weeks filming -- the heat, the who shebang ... I had a ball on this show and wouldn't trade the experience to anyone.

We've lost some of the cast & crew through the years -- and they are indeed missed. It's 31 years ago now we shot.

When I got that call from the 2nd A.D. to 'C'mon back here, and work with me on this -- it's getting weird and I need to be around someone I can relate to ...'

I was on the plane the next day.

Miss you, Bob Y., you were-ARE a Prince,

Dana A.

Nice. Glad you had fun on it. It's a good movie. Stood the test of time for me. Watched it a couple years back and I liked it as much as a I did when I was a kid.

Nice post indeed Dana A.!
How was it to work with Paul Michael Glaser and the executive producer Michael Mann?
Great news for the Blu Ray release, i've just ordered it!
I saw it for the first time on french vhs in the mid-90's, then on dvd, and now soon on Blu Ray!
It's a cool, entertaining film with Michael Mann's style all over it despite the film being directed by Paul Michael Glaser...Mann used the same year for his great movie "Manhunter" the "Band of the hand" actor (Stephen Lang) and the bands used in the soundtrack (Michel Rubini and Shriekback)!
