I cannot for the life of me find this anime! No dvds, vhs or anything! Someone link me something! :)

In the 15 years since you posted it has indeed been released in the US on dvd by Discotek media. Hope you found it well before now, though. I haven’t watched it myself yet but the subject matter and character designs are appealing.
