Features Viggo Mortensen’s first big screen appearance

I did not realize Mortensen was in the film until re-watching it tonight. Apparently, Witness was Mortensen’s first movie in which his scenes did not end on the cutting room floor. He was an unknown at the time and was credited as one of the Amish men. He maybe had two minutes of screen time and his only real line was joking about a horse with one testicle. He was about 25 at the time and it would be another 16 years after Witness before he acquired true fortune in Lord of the Rings which made him very famous.
