It’s a word not banded around much these days with the utter filth many have become accustomed too, but watching Witness back in the day, the scene where they build the barn is just that, WHOLESOME.

From the music, to both men & women playing their respective roles as intended is just perfect, there’s no agendas. Sure, John & Daniel have alittle ‘sparring’ over winning the affection of Rachel, but it’s all wonderfully innocent.

It’s the coming together for the common good, it’s a beautiful scene.*
