Did you notice that Dafoe kissed a dude

and they awkwardly edited it to make it look like it was Feuer in drag he was kissing? It's at 32:30 on the Blu Ray.

reply

Its done completely on purpose, like the reversed lanes in the car chase, to go along with the counterfeit theme.

reply

I understand that, but Feuer didn't look convincing enough in drag so they had to have a real man stand in. It looked clumsy.

reply

It looked VERY clumsy.

Schrodinger's cat walks into a bar, and / or doesn't.

reply

Agreed. One of the few things about the movie that annoyed me.

reply

I saw that last night!!!
the scene is crazy he kisses a man and then the man is now is girlfriend in the next ahot.
Masters is bisex and ambiguous.
but then also is girlfriend is bisexual as the scene when masters brings the other dancer home shows

reply

I don't see the purpose of changing the character into a real man dressed in drag. Dafoe is a Gaylord lol

reply

I heard it was Friedkin screwing with the audience, especially after all the controversy around his previous film Cruising in which Pacino’s cop goes undercover as a gay.
