To get to Fury Road? Or should I watch this film and then Fury Road?

The best IMO is Mad Max 2 Road warrior. 2nd Best is Mad Max 1. Third best is Beyond thunderdome. I don't really count fury road among the originals. Different actor diffeet style of directing etc. I enjoyed it. But i look at it as I look at the new star trek movies. It's a reboot/quasi sequel.

It doesnt matter OP since Fury Road reboots the whole Mad Max saga...Fury Road is the first Mad Max movie of a new and real trioligy....Miller wanna make the Max saga as he really wanted back then but didnt have the budget to do it.
