You obviously miss the point that he never had asthma to begin with. Mikey was a hypochondriac.

I thought it was more likely he got panic attacks.

Ohmygod, you're dumb. I "came down" with my form of asthma at 40.

Agree but basically he was already using a inhaler and going out in bad weather can make breathing worse ie cold, lung infection etc.
